Car theft syndicates
Posted June 11th, 2008 by ianMy parents' car (a Proton) was stolen from Centerpoint last night. Doesn't matter the car is old, they'd still want it. The syndicates probably have a purchase order.
At the police station making the reports they were told that about 6-8 cars were also reported stolen.
The ironic thing is that the car was stolen only a few hundred meters away from the café that the police so frequent for tea.
Day 5: Effects of fuel price increases
Posted June 10th, 2008 by ianI still have a half tank full of fuel in my car. However, I am cutting down on going out for drink sessions, movies, shopping with friends etc. More so than before.
Helped by the fact that I have super extraordinary expenditures for last month - furniture being the main culprit.
Sorry coffee shops and entertainment outlets. You don't get my business, and it's not at all my fault.
Tough luck.
What you're looking at is a sloppy blog.
Posted June 10th, 2008 by ianYeah. None of the glitz and recommendations from that recent blog seminar. It's not even Wordpress (shock, horror)!
So what you see is sloppy work. Whatever.
Man are not born to blog, and I make better use of time elsewhere. And to those who want to start on about how to organize my time and all that crap talk, please - go to hell.
So go sit on it for a while.
Someone messed up bad.

We ask you the Prime Minister, why have you forgotten the Dayaks who have voted the BN in Sarawak? Why have your decision on subsidized diesel be only for the fishermen and their fishing vessel?
Cooking Oil Havoc
Posted June 6th, 2008 by ian
Rumors that cooking oil prices will soar sent many shoppers scrambling for cooking oil today (6th June), one day after the fuel price hikes were announced.
People went absolutely crazy and bought the last remaining stocks of cooking oil to stock up just to save up the few Ringgit. Stocks in major shopping complexes were sold out.
