I've been melamined!

If the Malaysian government had been doing its job of testing for melamine in products sold in Malaysia, why did I accidentally buy this bag of biscuits of said brand with tainted products?
And if they did remove the melamine from this particular batch of biscuits, why is there no reassurance, or notice from the manufacturer? Everyone's just turned a blind eye towards it?
Aren't they supposed to make an initative to destroy the tainted products? Or did the Health Ministry just say "now be a good supplier and I trust you lot to not sell this product" while skipping happily away singing "Dancing in the Rain"?
I know it's my fault for not being more careful buying the product - but aren't the vendors & government also responsible for keeping tainted products - if indeed these are tainted - off the shelves for reckless people like me?
Regardless - tainted or not, this one goes into the bin.

If not mistaken, the manufacturer of this product is from Sabah, right? Am I right? Cos I always buy this brand of cream cracker since I was a kid. I never paid any attention to the content whenever I buy it. Cham lor!!

Guess that's why I'm so demented at times..
