The difference between experienced and unexperienced.
There came a time when I was ask a set of questions on subjects that I have taken examinations for and passed, but never had any sort of hands-on experience for. At this point, you can't expect me to answer them naturally because the exam was over a year ago, and on top of that it's not something I think of everyday, because I'm not in that field.
Even if I did do the revisions. Yes, I did. Really.
For those who'd already been in the field it would come almost naturally because being in that field with the experience it's being mentioned almost everyday and it gets embedded in their head. So when you ask them, duh, they will answer it without much trouble.
The problem is that these answers won't come naturally to me. I need to think and rethink and articulate the thoughts. In other words, it becomes hard to explain it in words because it's not everyday for me.
Which is exactly why I needed the experience!
The irony now is that these questions are asked just so I can qualify to get experiences from there.
