Trust me on this, I have met children that think "chicken" are those packaged headless frozen white flabs of meat you find in supermarket frozen foods department. They have never seen the living feathered variety.

One day, it's all gonna be processed food, you won't see the raw material, aka the real thing. It's all done in the processing plant.
All we'll see is cooked stuff that is ready to eat on the table.
