(Updated) Swapping an SD card for a... guess what? Tea set.
How would you feel if you had to swap a free gift 4GB SD card for a tea set? That's what I had to go through due to the utter incompetence that is Courts Mammoth (see previous story).
I don't really mind the tea set swap actually, it's just the way Courts handled it (or didn't handle it).
I don't blame the person who dealt with my case, in fact, she has been great help, but overall the Courts just handled the whole thing badly. My supposedly "free" SD card stock never arrived, even though an order was made. I had to go out and buy a 8gb card myself.
The compromise was to swap it with another cheap free gift, like containers, various mugs & plates, and eventually this was narrowed down to something that we tolerated - a tea set from their showroom. Instead of waiting for the "free" SD card to arrive (the combined fuel burn for the trips to ask for the damned free gift probably cost more than the SD card itself), I chose the tea set instead.
The whole set probably cost a good RM50, and serves as a good decor piece. And if we break our other sets this serves as a backup.
Good riddance.

If I go visit you and your wife, I want to be served tea in that brand new tea set of yours, he he he...
